Classes reservations are being taken now...call the store at 352-259-6226 today! Dyan Reaveley is offering 4 of her most popular Art Journaling Workshops at She Scrapbooks on May 7th and 8th. She is over the top excited to offer Dyan's unique vision of art journaling to you!

Meet Dyan... Mixed Media Artist Dyan Reaveley's unique eclectic style comes through in her vibrant color combinations of inks and paints, using text as an insightful design element and the clever use of imagery in her artwork. Dyan teaches and demos with Ranger and is known for her creativity with layering color, images and thought-provoking collages. Dyan owns and operates a teaching and design studio Art from the Heart in Harrogate, in the north of England. Dyan's mission is to introduce everyone to the fabulous therapy that is art journaling and creating mixed-media art. Dyan is offering workshops will consist of specific in depth journal techniques. Students can mix and match the techniques picking one or all of the workshops to suit their individual needs and build upon their journaling skills. One Creative Journal per person will be gifted from Dyan to class attendees!

Journaling with Inks and Stencils All supplies are provided. Tuesday, May 7th 9 to 1pm Cost: $75 This workshop combines the use of Dylusions inks and stencils. All the techniques, hints and tips for perfectly inked pages. We will be creating beautiful backgrounds to kick start your journaling journey. We will also be incorporating fabulous techniques such as ghosting, creating depth, bleach out, painting, transferring, stenciling and spitting to name a few.

Anatomy of a Page All supplies are provided. Tuesday, May 7th 2 to 6pm Cost: $75 Are you intrigued by the art journaling phenomena but unsure where to start?Do the pages look too complicated for you to even contemplate where to begin?This is the class for you. We will break down the journal page into easy bite size steps. Starting with a background, stamping borders and journal lines, adding collage elements and doodling. And then we will do it again and again, each time adding a new twist or element until you feel totally at ease and raring to go.

Writing in your Journal All supplies are provided. Wednesday, May 8th 9 to 1pm Cost: $75 This workshop will introduce you to writing in your journal. You don't need to be deep and meaningful. You don't need to be able to write poetry or bare your inner soul to the world. You just need to be able to pick up a pen and write. We will cover basic lettering and journal lines, how to hide your journaling from prying eyes (hidden journaling), how to make your writing look fab, how to cheat with alphabet stamps, plus all Dyan's hints and tips to get your message across.

Couture Journaling All supplies are provided.  Wednesday, May 8th 2 to 6pm Cost: $75 This workshop is everything you need to know about the Dylusions range of Couture clear stamps. Bring a touch of glamour to your pages with the fashion images. Learn how to make each stamp look totally different by adding patterns to the material. We will be stamping, masking, painting, doodling, adding other imagery and elements to create fabulous pages.
