We are in full swing of finalizing all the last minute details for the She Scrapbook retreat this weekend!!! We have a full house attending are so excited to welcome everyone to the first retreat of the year. If you didn't make it in to this one, don't worry there will be quite a few more opportunities, wink! If you are attending this one the supply list (as well as a sneak peek) can be found on our retreat blog here. Kits have been kitted, goodie bags are waiting to be stuffed, projects are ready...the banquet room will open promptly at 2:00pm. We are ready for a fun filled weekend of papercrafting the nights away!

Can you believe it is 2012? Here we are...a new beginning! New chances! Fresh slate.
With the holidays over, I know I have many pictures to help remember the special things that happened during the holidays. I have a ton of pictures from 2011 that need to be scrapbooked!

WOW!!!! Do we ever have so much going on!
First, If you are coming to the retreat...the supply list and info has been posted to the retreat blog! GO here to see.
Second, we are hosting one of our fun-filled retreats this weekend. This will be our last retreat of the year and we have had a few spots open up...so if you are interested, give us a call at the store and we would be happy to sign you up.
Third, Sunday, which is the last day of our retreat will be our last day in operations at the Lake Sumter Landing location. We will be reopening at our NEW BIGGER location on Sunday October 9! We can't wait to open SHE'S new doors and show you her new home! The painting is done, the floors have been cleaned and we finishing up the last minute tweaks before we can start moving in. We have a fun filled day scheduled for her grand reopening/two year celebration, so mark your calendars! You won't want to miss any of it! TTFN

We are in full swing of last minute details for our weekend retreat. We expecting a full house and can't wait to see everyone who is coming! We are so excited that we even get to open early....Woo Hoo...doors will open at 2:00pm on Friday! Make sure if you are coming that you have checked in at the retreat blog for the last minute updates of what supplies you will need if you want to participate in the projects!

We have also been very busy little bees ordering a ton of new stuff for the store. CHA was last week and they didn't disappoint with the new products launches! Be sure to keep an eye on your emails and the blog...we will be updating as new stuff hits the shelves!

I will be doing an inking class in the next couple of weeks...so keep a check on your email for information. I'm so excited to share some of the things that I learned at Ranger U with all you girlies!!!

We have been really busy here at She Scrapbooks!!! During the month of January we had our first retreat of the year, went to CHA, opened registration for Debby Schuh's classes and were having sales to make room for all the goodies that are coming from CHA!!! Whew...I feel like we have been in a whirl wind!

Last week we opened registration for our April Retreat and sold out within two days! I am so excited about what we have planned for the retreaters...it's going to be good. If you missed out on this one, don't worry, we have another one planned for July (we are still working on the dates), and we are even thinking about adding one more for the year!

Next weekend, the 18th and 19th, we are welcoming Debby Schuh for the first time to She!!! We had the opportunity to meet up with Debby at CHA and she is just as sweet as we thought she would be. We are looking forward to Debby's visit and the inspiration she brings to our customers. We have a few spots left and would love it if you could join us! Wow what a week! The new product is rolling in at a very fast pace! We have ALL the new Graphic 45 in and on the shelf...GORGEOUS! The new Teresa Collins lines...All FIVE of them. The New Lost and Found line from My Minds Eye...Oh my gosh, this one made my heart race...you have to see it...it will simply take your breath away. Oh and Artsy Urban is now on the shelf from Melody Ross. She is the one who does Brave Girls...it is a must too. If you haven't stopped in in awhile now is the perfect time. There is new stuff all over the store! There is more but I have to save some surprises, wink. Can't wait to show you!

She Scrapbooks has the line-up for you.

Lance Anderson from the Rusty Pickle will be joining us and teaching two fabulous mini albums!!! He will be teaching "Fall Splendor" and "Way Cool" workshops and each is approximately three hours. The classes are $45.00 each. What a deal!

Next we have The Glitz Girls!!! We have five amazing workshops lined up for you. They will be teaching "Kismet" a 9x9 mini album, "Distressed Couture" three 12x12 layouts, "Creative Art Journal" a brilliantly altered vintage book, "Vintage Serving Platter"a very unique piece of home decor, "12x12 Altered Record Album" a one of a kind piece of home decor and finally "Vintage Love" another three 12x12 layout class.

We have been so busy here at She Scrapbooks. Last week we participated in the North Central Florida Road Trip, we had many a scrapbooker visiting us and loved meeting so many new friends! It was definitely a great time! We will be picking the winner of the HUGE PINK basket of FUN very soon! We will be announcing the winner here on the blog so if you were a part of the road trip and you made a stop into She Scrapbooks you will want to check back later this week, wink.We have also received lots of new paper crafting goodness. It's a good day here at She Scrapbooks!!! I just put out all the new Graphics 45 paper and it is gorgeous...I don't think this will last long! We also received our first shipment of the Girls Paperie by Margie Romney-Aslett!!! So cute, perfect for boy, girl, travel, and so much more! Totally lovin' this new line. Oh and new ribbons from May Arts. Some nice sheers and strips and gingham...Stampers you will love this. And if that wasn't enough we also received the new idea book by the creative genius Tim Holtz! This book not only gives you ideas but it takes you step by step through the creative process!!! I think it is a must have. You also might find a few of his new things from the idea-ology line. I can't wait to see what UPS brings today...stay tuned.

What a fun-filled weekend. We were thrilled to have Donna Downey visit She Scrapbooks and teach some very excited ladies a ton of new techniques!!! We made lots of new friends and welcomed back quite a few friends! This weekend was jam packed with fun classes and a ton of Donna's trademark techniques and are excited to let you know that she said she would be glad to come back and do more classes in the future!!! Oh and we are also taking pre-orders on limited addition kits that Donna will be shipping to us in the next couple of weeks. The new stuff is rolling in to She Scrapbooks at a very fast pace now!!! Can you hear me squealing in delight??? Yesterday we received Prima and a restocking of the new Martha Stewart punches!!!

Prima has delicious new papers, bling, pearls, flowers, the new Donna Downey stuff and my personal favorite...vintage lace!!!! My mind is whirling at the total inspiration I am getting from just seeing all this new product hit the shelf in the store. I can't wait to take some home and actually play with it, wink.

By the way Donna will be here tomorrow and we are so excited...we have a few spots left in her classes so if you've been sitting on the fence now is the time, sign up and join in the inspiration fun!!!

The CHA arrivals have started arriving!!! We have all the new lines from Teresa Collins in stock! These includes a gorgeous wedding line, a Home line and the chicest baby lines I have ever seen called Bebe Boy and Bebe Girl.
We also have received Unity Stamps! We are thrilled they made it in time for Donna Downey's visit this weekend as she loves Unity and has designed some stamps for them. (and yes we did get those in)
We are getting daily reports from UPS that boxes are on their way and we will be updating you as all the new goodness arrives to She Scrapbooks!!!

Retreat info...

We announced last night in our email that we are now taking reservations for our second SHE retreat. If you haven't been to a retreat before here is a little information. The retreat starts Friday April 30th at 4:00pm and runs through Sunday May 2nd until 3:00pm. The retreat will be held at the The Waterfront Inn in Sumter Landing which is just steps away from She Scrapbooks. We will have door prizes, make and takes and loads of fun. The banquet room will be available non-stop for your cropping pleasure. We will provide lunch on Saturday at the store, you are responsible for all your other meals. You may bring whatever supplies with you that you will need for the weekend. There are outlets available for those of you who need them. The cost of the retreat is $75.00. The hotel has given our retreaters a fabulous room rate of $79.00 each night, you can make your reservations by calling the hotel and letting them know you are with the She Scrapbooks weekend retreat. If you have any further questions please feel free to stop by the store or call us and we will be glad to give you more information! Space is limited and it does sell out quickly so make your reservations as soon as possible.

Bo Bunny did not disappoint... they have some beautiful new lines and we have them coming to She Scrapbooks! I think Mama-razzi was one of my top favorites from the whole show. It is total vintage love with a grunge feel. It is to celebrate all of us mothers who never seem to be in the pictures! Another one that I just love (being from Florida) is the Paradise collection. It is right on target for beachy, tropical, vacation, outdoor fun. They also introduced new colors to the very popular double dot cardstock collection, and yes we ordered all the new colors! We also ordered more of their dot ribbon and now they have it in narrower width which I just know the stamper ladies are going to love!

How could I have waited so long to tell you about Prima? This is always one of my favorite booths to visit because it is filled with total eye candy. It is so inspiring to see the creative things their designers come up with. It just make it that much more complicated to pick and choose, so usually there is not to much picking going on...just give me this and oh, lets have that too. We ordered new papers, new flowers, new Donna Downey stuff, new pearls, new bling and here is one more look at that vintage lace, it's so good I had to post it again!

We have had so many requests for ribbon and more ribbon and lace and more ribbon...we listened. We went a little crazy at the May Arts ribbon booth, and we think you will be pleasantly surprised! Here is just a sampling of what we say at May Arts booth. We have lots and lots of ribbon coming very soon, some sheer, some stripes, some gingham, some grosgrain, in all different widths. Then there is the utterly drop dead gorgeous vintage lace from Prima!!! We couldn't leave any of these out, they were just destined to ALL be found at She Scrapbooks! We will be peeking at some Prima goodness next so stay tuned!

Here is a little peak at the new Basic Grey...yummo is all I can say! My favorite is their new One Size Fits All line...think grid and script. Perfect for the everyday, cards, home decor and so much more. When this one arrives I think it will just fly off the shelf, and I plan on some flying home with me too! My next favorite is Capella, elegant-vintage is what I think when I look at these papers. They are simply gorgeous! Capella can be used for wedding, heritage, babies, love, shabby...the possibilities are just endless. Love, love, love it! And my third favorite but not the last (we want to save some surprises!) is the new whiskers. For all us pet owners this is the perfect line to capture the fun they bring to our lives!!! We will keep you posted as to when all this paper goodness arrives!!!

Wow! We just fell in love with Teresa Collins new lines. She has one for Home, Wedding, Baby Boy and Baby Girl. We went a little crazy here and just ordered it ALL!!! It was that good, we just couldn't leave anything out! We have listened to you and knew the baby lines and wedding lines will help fill in where we needed some more choices! Let's move on to Heidi Swapp. She has teamed up with Tattered Angels, the makers of glimmer mist! She has come out with four custom colors of glimmer mist, tags that resist, new stamps and a few other things that work in conjunction with glimmer misting. We absolutely loved Tattered Angels booth and all the new they had. We ordered A LOT, so the glimmer mist racks will be restocked very soon, along with some new product called Glimmer Glam! You will absolutely love this stuff if you like the sparkle effect. So fun!

CHA update...

Well bloggers we made it back from a very exciting CHA...we have ordered a ton of new product that will start shipping out next week and continue shipping throughout the month of April! Some of the vendors like to tease us with product that isn't quite ready, but it is worth the wait, wink.
Lets see where do I start, hmmm, probably with Mr. Tim Holtz. I don't know where he gets his ideas from but this show was jam packed with so many new things from Tim. He has twelve new distress ink colors that are oh so yummy, a line of his own papers, new stamps, more idea-ology goodness, an idea book (gorgeous), and last but certainly not least is the new line of die cuts he is producing through Sizzix. Not only does he have new dies that will cut through just about anything, he also has texture fades...his version of embossing folders. In July he will also be shipping his very own die cutting machine that he designed. It is so cute, looks like a suitcase and is motorized!!! Can't wait to get my hands on that little beauty, smile.

We have been busy finishing up the remodel, getting our product in, checking it in and getting it to the shelves.
